If you are in need of service hours, or simply want to help your community, please look at the list of local nonprofits below. Many of them will have details about the organization as well as contact information, all provided by the organizations, so that you can reach out and let them know of your interest in volunteering.

Ongoing List of Nonprofits

       Services:

            -Packing grocery bags

            -Getting plastic bags double-bagged

           -Sorting food items and toiletries

            -Phone calls and other office work

          Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 A.M to 5 P.M

          Dress Code: No short-shorts

          Handicap Accessible: Yes

       Services: 

            -Dusting and cleaning chairs and tables 

            -Folding pamphlets 

            -Making sure books, magazines, etc. are in order

            -Assembling craft kits

            -Decorating windows

            -Helping with programs 

            -Finding books on the shelf from a provided list

          Hours: Various

          Dress Code: Comfortable clothes

          Handicap Accessible: Yes

       Services: 

           -Helping bring donations in

           -Organize donations

           -Serve meals

           -Sort clothes

          Hours: Thursdays, 4-7p and Saturdays, 10a-1p

          Dress Code: Seasonal clothes with comfortable shoes, we walk a lot

          Handicap Accessible: We are downstairs and only have a chairlift, no elevator

       Services: 

            -Bagging fruits & vegetables

            -Putting food on tables

            -Loading carts

       Hours: Produce Dates- Friday's- 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th when there are 5 weeks, times are 10:00 - 12:00. The 4th Friday is bigger with more food items.              10:00- 1:00. Help setting up, putting food on tables can come 8:30 or 9:00 A.M. Time to come later by 9:30

          Dress Code: Clothes are to be comfortable, no strapless tops or tank tops. Should wear closed toed shoes.

          Handicap Accessible: Yes

      Services: 

           -There are many different opportunities, including patient facing and clerical

           -Some patient facing opportunities are Wayfinding, Patient Experience, and Lobby/ Guest Ambassadors

           -Some clerical opportunities include Messenger Office, Pre- Admission Testing, and Histology

         Hours: Varies depending on the assignment and the current availability. Most shifts are Sunday through Saturday from roughly 8am- 12pm,

         12pm-  4pm and 4pm- 8pm. We do require a 4 hours shift.

         Dress Code: We provide volunteers with a uniform and an ID badge, they just have to wear earth tones pants (khakis, black, brown, navy).

         Handicap Accessible: Yes, all of our buildings have handicap accessibility. We are happy to find a volunteer assignment that fits the volunteers

         needs.

         Additional Information: We do require volunteers to come in on a set, consistent schedule every week. We have many different opportunities at

         multiple campuses, and we are happy to answer questions you may have. If you are interested in volunteering, please go online and apply!
